A PRACTICAL FIRST STEP

Start small.
Get ready together.

Try the finder demo, talk through your first outing and practise a check-in before the day itself.

The demo uses fictional contacts. Calling is disabled.

Your first event, in four steps.

  1. Arrange organisation access

Contact us about your organisation and planned use. Access is by invitation; your organisation administrator can then invite registered members.

  2. Prepare the event

Set the dates, choose staff and helpers, and select the adults a finder should call. Check friendly contact names and phone numbers.

  3. Prepare the codes

Choose shared contact finding or individual attendance codes. Print or obtain your bands, add attendees if needed and confirm assignments.

  4. Practise with your team

Run through scanning, saved confirmations and the overall register. Check connectivity and agree what to do if a phone or connection fails.

Already have an invitation?

Open the invitation email to finish creating your Groups account. Existing users can sign in with their Groups password and authenticator.

PLAN YOUR FIRST OUTING

Start with the day you’re planning.

Tell us about your organisation, the size of your group and how you want to use the codes. We’ll help you explore the setup.

Access is by invitation. This opens your email app.
