YOUR CODES. YOUR CHOICE OF PRINTING.

Choose what it does.
Then what it goes on.

The code’s purpose and the physical band are two separate choices. Both shared and individual codes can go on disposable or reusable materials.

Choose what the code does, then what you print it on

Individual codes give each attendee their own code for contact finding and attendance. One shared code gives everyone the same finder contacts, without individual attendance.

Individual · disposable

Different codes on single-use bands. One code per attendee.

Shared · disposable

A sheet or batch of bands with the same code for everyone on one event.

Individual · reusable

Different codes on durable bands. Collect and reassign them for future outings.

Shared · reusable

Durable bands with the same code. Collect and reuse them together for another event.

Cards, badges and tags are alternatives to wristbands, using either code option. Disposable describes the band, not the code: codes remain reusable unless permanently retired. A shared code can serve only one active event at a time.

You choose the physical format when printing or ordering from your supplier. Groups does not require you to buy wristbands from us.

From allocated code to something you can hand out.

  1. Generate in Groups

Create allocated codes in organisation stock. Use one shared event code for contact finding, or a different code per attendee for attendance.

  2. Choose your format

Print cards yourself or use your own supplier for disposable or durable, reusable bands. You decide the artwork and any extra wording.

  3. Test a finished sample

Check that the actual printed code scans on the phones you will use. Check contrast, size, curvature and wear before ordering a batch.

  4. Collect or replace

Collect reusable bands for the next outing, or print replacements. Event closure makes the code available again within your organisation’s own stock. It stays reserved for your organisation; it does not go into a general pool.

One identity, however many copies.

A sheet of the same shared code is useful for contact finding. A sheet of the same individual code still represents one attendee assignment, so it cannot provide separate attendance records for several people.

Old copies can work again when a code is reassigned. Permanently retire a code if every copy should stop working.
